CIMORELLI is a pop singing group of six sisters ages 16-26 from Northern California, now living in Nashville. They began singing at a young age as their mom, a classical pianist, taught them to sing in harmony between ages 3-5.
They started their band in 2007 playing covers of ‘80s rock songs on electric instruments at tiny, local shows in their hometown outside of Sacramento. In 2009, they uploaded their first cover, “Party In The USA”, to YouTube. The cover blew up and ended up getting millions of views. From there, they began regularly uploading covers, and that first cover connected them to Island Records, who they signed a record deal with that lasted for 5 years. In 2010, they moved down to Los Angeles and wrote songs with many well-known songwriters, including Diane Warren, The-Dream, Toby Gad, Julia Michaels, and many more. In 2013 Cimorelli won a Teen Choice Award after being nominated 3 years in a row.
In 2015, they made the big move across the country from California to Nashville and since then they have released two full-length albums, Up At Night (May 2016) and Alive (December 2016), surpassed 3.7 million subscribers on YouTube, amassed almost 1 billion views on their videos, toured all over the world.
They recently their first book, Lessons Learned, which is an advice book for teenage girls. Currently, they are working on their third album and planning their touring schedule for 2017.
